Prevent Belly Fat with Ginger

A healthy and a balanced diet, based on a right caloric intake, will always be the best way to keep your weight and fat accumulation under control. If you are already obese, you can start doing some physical exercise like jogging or walking, to burn more calories than you consume. Soon you will begin to reduce the amount of fat.

 

It is because your body needs to break the calories down and use it to get energy.  Researchers have also discovered a root called ‘ginger’ that can trim down fat on the abdomen. Ginger tea is taken before each meal, but before bedtime to speed up metabolism. The ingredients for it are fresh ginger root, two cups of water, honey and lemon juice. 


Here is the way to prepare ginger tea. Cut the ginger into small pieces and add some lukewarm water to it. Allow it to mix up with the water for about five to ten minutes and then remove the ginger pieces and add one or two teaspoons of lemon juice or honey as per your choice. 


The benefits of ginger for our health are numerous. Ginger tea is a remedy used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine and has shown excellent result in fighting recurring colds and cough, migraines as well as indigestion. The ginger root is rich in essential oils, vitamins B6, C and D, magnesium and copper, calcium, zinc as well as potassium.

 

With a lot of beneficial properties such as phelladrene aphrodisiac, curcumen, bisabolen, borneol, elemen, cineol and gingerol, ginger really acts as an all-purpose tonic and removes fatigue and toxins that accumulates in the body over time. With its anti-aggregant, anti-platelet, anti-febrile, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, hypo-tensive, analgesic, antiviral, antifungal, expectorant, antiseptic and antiemetic properties, ginger tea has beneficial effects on the body.
