Wireless power sharing for Mobile and Wearable devices

We all are familiar with mobiles and wearable devices which are now everywhere, but the main issue of these devices is battery, which lives less than a day.

There are many devices now exist to provide extra power to mobiles and wearable devices, such as power banks, solar cells and mobile hand generators. Nowadays external power banks have become popular but they add size and weight. The other devices like mobile hand generators and solar cells produce only limited amounts of power.

'Power Shake' which is a new invention, that allows to charge wirelessly from mobile and wearable device to other mobile and wearable devices. The researchers said that, about 12 seconds of charging gives 1 minute more talk time and to watch a video of 4 minutes, you want to charge only 2 minutes.

In addition to that, they said wireless charging involves at least two coils, one in the power transmitter, and one in the power receiver. When an electric current passes through the power transmitter coil, it creates an electromagnetic field that can transfer charge to another coil. Power transmission is best at close distances.
