People?s dependence on technology. Internet is a boon that has created a huge space for itself in the lives of people. It has provided services like online banking, online ticket reservations and many more which have made human lives easier and interesting. Online shopping is also one of the main benefits that Internet has provided us.
Online shopping has sundry advantages over offline shopping. Some of the main advantages of online shopping are stated below:
* In contrast to offline shopping, online shopping can be done from anywhere at any time. Unlike offline shopping, it is a 24/7 shopping service where we can but buy products at any odd hour of the day.
* Unlike offline shopping, online shopping makes it possible for us to buy products of different categories - in terms of age, gender and style- all under one roof. Hence it is time efficient. It provides us a choice to buy products of the most expensive brands as well as the cheaper ones.
* A common problem that many people face while shopping offline (in markets) is the huge crowd present there. This also makes it difficult for the shopkeepers to meet the desires of all the customers (present at the same time in the shop) in a satisfactory manner. Online shopping does not have such problems. It is a platform where millions of people can shop at the same time.
*Online shopping allows us to take a more rational decision. Unlike offline shopping, their decisions are not manipulated by shopkeeper?s tactics.
*Most online shopping platforms are in direct collaboration with the manufacturer and there are no middlemen involved. Hence, the same products are available at a cheaper price on online platforms as compared to offline markets.
Online shopping has many advantages. It is helping us move in pace with the modern world.
