New virus comes to attack. I would like to call it as 'hidden space folder' virus. When we connect a pen drive to this virus attacked system, the virus program will move all of the contents into a folder named " "(space) and hide the folder too. So that we cannot see the files when pen drive connect to other computer. We can only see a shortcut icon. Please don't click on the shortcut because, when we click on it, the virus function starts running in that computer too.
Normally if a virus program hide a file or folder, we can see it by opening pen drive with WinRar or other file open softwares. But in this case, it is not correctly accessible because the folder is named as " " (space).
Most of my friends reported me and asked to fix this. I think, I guess there are a lot of people facing this issue. So I decided to share the solution for fixing this issue here and I hope this will be very helpful to everybody.
Go to Run through start menu, Open Command prompt by typing cmd and press "Enter"
Then you will see a black screen and do the below steps there.
Now your files and folders will be visible on your pen drive.
Make sure to keep the antivirus up-to-date to prevent viruses.
